What are requirements for my school to use this service?
Before you get started ensure that you saved the contacts of your students in separate Excel files for each class. For each student, we need: student ID(admission number), student name, parent primary number & parent secondary number
How much do you charge per SMS?
For the pay-as-you-go plan we charge between KES 0.50 to KES 1.00 per sms on all networks in Kenya. Alternatively, subscribe to our annual unlimited sms plan for just KES 50 per student per year and send as many messages as you want without making any other payment.
Can I send messages with the name of my school?
Yes, you can. We call this SMS branding – by default all messages are sent using ‘Sematime’ as the sender’s name but you can change this to your school’s name for a one-off fee of KES 11,600 each on Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom.
